Sales Group :- Sales groups (for example, each with a sales manager) are subdivisions of a distribution chain. Sales groups can be used for reporting purposes
Sales Office :- A sales office is an organizational unit in sales and distribution which is responsible for sales within a specific geographical area. Sales offices are used in sales transactions in the Sales and Distribution component. They can be used for reporting purposes. Sales offices are optional.
Steps to Assign Sales Group to Sales Office in SAP
Step 1 :- Follow the below menu path
- IMG menu Path :- SPRO > SAP Implementation guide > Enterprise structure > Assignment > Sales and Distribution >Assign sales group to salesoffice
Step 2 :- Select “New Entries” for assigning the sales group to sales office
Step 3 :- In next screen update the following data,
1. Update sales office code in the SOff field
2. Update the Sales group code in the SGrp field
Step 4 :- After updating the data, select save icon or (Ctrl+S) to save the configured data.
