In this activity you maintain plan versions for Profit Center Accounting.

Plan versions let you create and save parallel sets of plan data for the same profit center, because you can use several plan versions in parallel.

In the first step, you create the versions for general use in R/3 on the General version definition screen. On the basis of this general definition, you must then maintain control parameters for the individual applications.

For Profit Center Accounting, you have to maintain these control indicators for each controlling area and fiscal year. You do this on the Settings for Profit Center Accounting screen.

Steps to maintain plan versions in SAP

Path: – SPRO > Controlling >Profit center accounting > Basic settings > Control area settings > Activate direct postings > Plan versions > Maintain plan versions.

Transaction code: – SPRO.

Step 1:- Enter transaction code SPRO in the SAP command field and enter.

Step 2:- Select SAP Reference IMG.

Step 3:- Follow the IMG path and select maintain plan versions.

Step 4:- Click on new entries button.

Step 5:- Update the following data.

Step 6:- Click on save button to save the data. Now come back and select version and double click on settings for profit center accounting.

Step 7:- Set your controlling area and enter.

Step 8:- Select new entries and update the following data as shown below.

Click on save button and save the configured entries.
